This drawing-performance took place in front of the statue of one of the founders of the Tokyo University of the Arts. By repeatedly writing the word "independent" in Japanese (独立), this performance was a way of thinking about the situation of independent artist in the world and especially in the Japanese context and in a conservative university such as the Tokyo University of the Arts.

The drawing was presented at Tokyo Independent 2019, a group exhibition directed by the Giving Art Committee.
